We sold and installed these three rain caps. The caps we carry are stainless steel. We painted these black at the client’s request. These chimney rain caps have a lifetime warranty. Chimney caps serve three main purposes: they keep critters out, keep rain and snow out and therefore makes the chimney last longer, and the keep embers from flying out the top of the chimney. We carry these chimney caps on all our trucks.

We replaced this chimney yesterday. Security chimney in many places had the inner liner completely work away and in other places it looked like a bunch of tacos inside the pipe. Security chimney pipe was the top of the line chimney 30 and 40 years ago. It came with a 30 year warranty. This pipe is a bit over 40 years years old. Chimneys sometimes need to be replaced.

6 insulated liners installed today at the Sagebrush Inn. This is phase 3 of the chimney restoration project at this historic hotel. We had to open the chimneys in this way to remove the various round metal pipes we discovered.

After many hours of prep, and setting scaffolding on top of the 3rd story solarium of the building, the Bailey's Team drops 18 feet of pre-insulated flexible stainless steel liner down the chimney.

After dropping the chimney liner, resting for a minute

Early in December we installed chimney liners in two chimneys at the Mabel Dodge Luhan house. Mabel was a patron of the arts who married a Taos Pueblo tribal member, Tony Lujan, and brought lots of important people to Taos. The windows in the house were painted by DH Lawrence. Dennis Hopper owned the house for several days during his wild days in the early 70's in Taos. Now the building serves as a conference center, specializing in arts retreats, and a bed and breakfast.
